Great American Cookies, which calls itself the “Original Cookie Cake franchise,” has opened a location in Novi. The venue offers a variety of classic and seasonal fresh baked cookies, gourmet cookies, and cookie cakes.
The original cookie cake comes in many varieties, while the company’s chocolate chip cookie recipe dating back to 1977. The franchise has dozens of locations across the United States.
The cookie cakes can be themed to celebrate different occasions, such as birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, sports activities, graduations, work occasions, and other milestones.
Other offerings include brownies, double doozies (made with icing sandwiched between two cookies), cookie cake by the slice, and regular cookies. Other selections include cookie platters and the unicorn cake — five layers of cookie cake with a rainbow-like array of icing colors.
“We are pleased to expand our reach across the U.S. with our first location in Michigan,” says Jenn Johnston, president of FAT Brands’ quick-service division. “Nothing beats fresh, straight-from-the-oven cookies, especially during the cold winter months in Michigan. The Novi Great American Cookies is located at the Twelve Oaks Mall at 27500 Novi Rd. and is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
