Glover Agency, which operates four offices in Michigan, announced it became fully independent on Nov. 1, after 17 years with Keller Williams. The move follows founder Jeff Glover’s August sale of his three Keller Williams market centers.

With locations in Birmingham, Plymouth, Fenton, and Wyoming (near Grand Rapids) Glover Agency is now independent and Michigan-only. It is not affiliated with any franchise or national brand, and is focused exclusively on the Michigan market.

“Our agents have always been the center of the company,” says Taylor Kerrigan, CEO of Glover Agency. “Independence lets us enhance the value proposition to the agents that they count on every day, and gives us the freedom to keep building it our way. For our clients, nothing changes about how we serve them, other than a more personalized approach.”

The move is driven mainly by Glover U’s broker-agnostic mission. With Glover Agency no longer tied to a franchise, the Live Unreal family of companies is independent of any single brand, and Glover U, the coaching and training organization Glover founded, continues to serve agents and leaders from every brand across the U.S. and Canada.

“Being broker-agnostic is one of the main reasons I made this move,” says Glover. “Joining another franchise or national brand would have tied Glover U to one company’s interests. Independence keeps it broker-agnostic, and it’s what lets me show up for every agent and leader in this business, regardless of whose name is on the sign.”

Glover joined Keller Williams in 2009 and remained an active KW agent and team owner after the sale of the market centers. During his tenure at KW, Glover worked his way up through the ranks, reaching as high as No. 3 nationally among all groups and No.1 in the expansion team category for most homes sold and has remained in the top 10, of all teams over the last decade.

“Seventeen years ago I joined KW with a young team and a lot to learn,” Glover adds. “The time I spent with Gary Keller and the leaders and agents I met along the way shaped how I build and lead, and I’m grateful to every one of them. I plan to stay part of that community, and Glover U will keep showing up for KW’s leaders and agents just as it always has for everyone else.”

Glover Agency, which started in 2008 as Jeff Glover & Associates, states it has sold more than 10,000 homes.
