Feldman Automotive Group in New Hudson has acquired Firelands Auto Group, which includes four dealership locations in northern Ohio. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
It is Feldman Automotive Group’s largest acquisition to date, and adds to their current portfolio of dealerships in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio while also expanding their brand portfolio with the addition of Honda and Toyota.
The newly acquired dealerships will be keeping the Firelands name. They include Firelands Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (914 E. Strub Rd.), Firelands Toyota (904 E. Strub Rd.), and Firelands Honda (2301 Hayes Ave.) in Sandusky, Ohio, and Firelands Chevrolet (2315 State Rd.) in Vermilion, Ohio.
All locations are open Monday-Saturday, offering new and used cars sales and a full-service department.

In addition to Firelands Toyota and Firelands Honda bringing both brands to the organization for the first time, Firelands Chevrolet becomes its 10th Chevrolet dealership, and Firelands Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram adds to its growing Stellantis footprint as the group’s fourth dealership representing the brand.
A new 40,000 square foot dealership location for Firelands Honda that spans more than 6 acres is under construction, with an anticipated opening in the fall.
The new Firelands Honda will be located on Strub Road, just adjacent to the other Firelands dealerships in Sandusky. Firelands Honda will continue serving customers at its current location until the transition to the new dealership is completed this fall.
The Feldman Automotive Group will be retaining Firelands Auto Group’s current team of employees.
The deal was brokered by Tim Lamb, president, and director of the Northeast Region for the Tim Lamb Group, which is recognized as the largest auto dealership sales and acquisitions firm in North America, and is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.
Feldman opened his first Chevrolet dealership in 1996. The Feldman Automotive Group has evolved over the past 30 years and owns and operates 25 car and RV/Airstream dealerships representing 14 car brands and 33 RV brands in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana, with the addition of Firelands Auto Group.
In turn, Feldman and actor Mark Wahlberg are partners in six car and RV dealerships in Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio.
Feldman Automotive Group is Michigan’s No. 1 Chevy dealer. It also has the exclusive rights to sell the INEOS Grenadier brand in Michigan.
