The Founders Junior Council, the young professionals’ auxiliary of the Detroit Institute of Arts, will host Fash Bash in partnership with Neiman Marcus at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15. Proceeds will benefit the council’s pledge of $1 million to the DIA’s endowment campaign.
Fash Bash will showcase fashion, food, and more at the DIA. Guests will enjoy an outdoor cocktail party, a Neiman Marcus Art of Fashion runway show in the museum’s Grand Hall and Rivera Court, and drinks and dancing at an afterglow. This is the council’s ninth year partnering with Nieman Marcus.
“Each year we aim to present an unmatched celebration of fashion, art, and culture to the city of Detroit, and this year is no different,” says Maggie Durant, president of the council. “Detroit continues to be one of the international art and design community’s most inspirational destinations. We are proud to further our city’s reputation with an evening of sophistication and style presented by Neiman Marcus and produced by fashion industry leader Margaret Merritt.”
A limited number of tickets are still available. The Aprés-Fête tickets are $150 and includes access to only the afterglow party. The Prêt-À-Porter ticket includes the cocktail reception, show seating in the third row, and access to the afterglow party.
The Couture Crowd ticket is $375 and includes the cocktail reception, seating in the second row for the show, and access to the afterglow party. The Haute Couture ticket is $750 and includes the cocktail reception, seating in the front row for the show and, with the purchase of two tickets, a $100 Nieman Marcus gift card.
The Métier D’Art tickets are $1,500 and includes the cocktail reception, lounge seating for the show, elevated bar service and dedicated staff in Rivera Court, access to the afterglow party, and a $100 Neiman Marcus gift card.
