DaySmart in Ann Arbor Acquires Appointment Scheduling Software Provider

Ann Arbor’s DaySmart Software, a provider of business management software, has acquired AppointmentPlus, an Arizona-based online appointment-scheduling software provider. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Ann Arbor’s DaySmart Software, a provider of business management software, has acquired AppointmentPlus, an Arizona-based online appointment-scheduling software provider. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Bob La Loggia, CEO of AppointmentPlus, along with the company’s more than 100 employees, will join DaySmart.

AppointmentPlus provides scheduling solutions to segments including supply chain and logistics, health care, automotive, education, and government. The company also offers OpenDock, a warehouse and dock scheduling software.

“Bob and his team have built a best-in-class software platform that caters to a variety of growing markets that will complement the overall DaySmart offering,” says Patrick Shanahan, CEO of DaySmart. “We welcome AppointmentPlus customers with a commitment to increased investment in product development.”

Following the acquisition, DaySmart will serve more than 20,000 customers in more than 100 countries.

DaySmart plans to pursue additional acquisitions of software businesses. The company offers desktop software and cloud apps built for the salon, spa, pet, and tattoo industries.
