Cendrowski Corporate Advisors (CCA), a tax, business valuation, and accounting firm in Bloomfield Hills, has been acquired Prosperity Partners, a Chicago-headquartered accounting business.
Unity Partners, a principles-based private equity firm, joined in the announcement. Terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1983 by Harry Cendrowski, CCA is a boutique tax consulting firm offering comprehensive tax, outsourced accounting, family office services, business valuation, dispute advisory, and forensic accounting services.
The current partners of CCA will remain actively involved and are fully committed to the business.
“We are excited to add the CCA team to the Prosperity Partners family,” says Jeremy Dubow, co-founder and CEO of Prosperity. “Harry Cendrowski and his partners have developed a fantastic reputation in our industry, built on decades of delivering high-quality service and expertise to their clients. They have a great team and a complementary service offering that will benefit the Prosperity platform.”
As part of the deal, all CCA employees will become part of Prosperity’s Employee Purpose Plan, a broad-based employee ownership program. As an essential aspect of each Unity Partners’ investment, the employee ownership plan allows qualifying employees to benefit from the company’s success.
“Prosperity Partners impressed us with their track-record of growth, breadth of resources, and deep focus on employee and client success,” says Cendrowski. “We believe that Prosperity is the right cultural and strategic fit for CCA, and that our employees and clients will benefit from being part of this organization.
Unity Partners is a principles-based private equity firm that partners investors and operators to build better together.
“We’re thrilled to have CCA join the Prosperity platform,” says Peter Cozzi, team lead at Unity Partners. “With strong alignment on Prosperity’s mission and ambitions of providing the best client service possible, we’re excited for this key growth opportunity and partnership.”
