Stefanini, a global information technology provider, with its North American headquarters in Southfield, today announced plans to expand its operations in the Philippines and will hire between 1,000 and 2,000 new employees by the end of next year.
“The Philippines is a key marketplace for Stefanini to invest and reinforce its business process outsourcing offer,” says Gary Grossman, senior director of service delivery for Stefanini North America and Asia Pacific. “The Philippines is well known for its mature business process outsourcing market and Stefanini is focused on growing our footprint in this space.”
Grossman says the Philippines operation offers service desk services, strategic staffing, and positions such as security administrators and security analysts. He says the office has attracted a large volume of employees who are looking to work for a global IT company, and has maintained year after year sales growth at an average of 25 percent per year.
Grossman says Stefanini is working to increase business growth in the Asia-Pacific market landscape. The company also has operations in China, India, and Singapore, among other locations.
Stefanini, founded in 1987, provides IT services, including application development services, help desk support and desktop services, systems integration, consulting, and strategic staffing. The company has operations in nearly 40 countries.
