My Big Fat Shawarma, a fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant company based in Warren, will celebrate the grand opening of its new Beverly Hills location on Sept. 12.
Located at 31243 Southfield Rd. (north of 13 Mile Road), the new restaurant marks the fourth location for the brand. In addition to the upcoming Beverly Hills store, other locations include Detroit (Midtown), Warren, and West Bloomfield.
Set across 3,360 square feet and featuring an outdoor patio, the Beverly Hills restaurant will employ approximately 15 people and serve the brand’s signature shawarma bowls, wraps, and sides. The offerings include a signature Fat Sauce and ingredients from filet steak to chicken and falafel.
“Opening our fourth location is a major milestone for My Big Fat Shawarma and a reflection of how much our brand has grown,” says Marcos Kiminaia, founder and CEO of My Big Fat Shawarma. “We’ve built this brand around quality ingredients, generous portions, and creating a place where people feel welcome.”
In addition to multiple options for toppings, sauces, and topping, the menu includes two soups — chicken wild rice and chicken tortilla — along with lemonade and sodas. Desserts include rice pudding, cheesecake, and three different big fat cookies.
The grand opening celebration for the Beverly Hills location will feature giveaways and special offers throughout the day, including free shawarma bowls or wraps for the first 100 guests, $50 gift card giveaways every half hour, $100 gift card giveaways every hour, and an electric bike giveaway valued at $4,400.
The event also marks the culmination of My Big Fat Shawarma’s partnership with NBA star Isaiah Stewart, who has appeared in custom social media content for the brand. Guests will have the chance to win additional prizes tied to the partnership, including a signed Isaiah Stewart jersey, autographed sneakers, and a signed basketball.
My Big Fat Shawarma’s Beverly Hills location will be open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.
