The Parade Company has announced it will debut an unprecedented lineup of new floats for the 100th America’s Thanksgiving Parade presented by Gardner White on Nov. 26 along Woodward Avenue from Midtown to downtown.
Produced by The Parade Company, the Detroit tradition is celebrating a century of floats, giant balloons, Distinguished Clowns, Big Heads, marching bands, and special guests. Recognized as one of the best parades in America, it will be broadcast live on WDIV Local 4 and nationally syndicated in 185 television markets.

The eight new parade floats were designed and built by artists at The Parade Company. The new floats, to be featured for three years, will be unveiled in the weeks leading up to the parade. The new floats include:

In addition to the eight new floats, Parade Company artists are creating a new section for the Strategic Staffing Solutions float to debut this Thanksgiving.
The Parade Company announced in August that this year’s Grand Marshal is Dan Gilbert, founder and chairman of Rocket Cos. in Detroit. In addition, Hudson’s Detroit, developed by Gilbert’s Bedrock Detroit, will be adorned with a massive American flag.
The Parade — the theme this year is “This is 100” — is free and open to the public. It will be broadcast live on WDIV Local 4 from 10 a.m. to noon.
