As digital disruption continues to reshape the competitive business landscape, HMG Strategy will host the Detroit CIO Executive Leadership Summit at the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel on Thursday, June 1. The event will feature an executive panel discussion that will explore how chief information officers (CIO) are positioned to lead the digital agenda, followed by keynote speaker Sonny Hashmi, managing director of global government for cloud-storage company Box.

Other sessions throughout the summit will include best practices for fostering innovation, leveraging security as a competitive advantage, and presentation of the HMG Strategy 2017 Transformational CIO Award to Mamatha Chamarthi, senior vice president, chief digital officer, and CIO of ZF TRW.

A panel of search executives will also explore trends in laying the foundation for a digital roadmap, the benefits of collaborative innovation, and a closing panel will examine the leadership qualities needed by CIOs to drive innovation and deliver business value to their organizations.

“The CEO and the board of directors are looking for visionary leadership to thrust the enterprise into the next era of the digital age,” says Hunter Muller, HMG Strategy’s president and CEO. “CIOs have a unique view of how different parts of the company operate and can blend this with their technology expertise and understanding of the business to craft a winning digital strategy.”

As a peer-to-peer event, attendees will also have opportunities to network and make connections, extend their personal brands, and get information about leadership strategies and forthcoming trends.
