Rebel Nell, the Detroit-based jewelry maker that provides employment for women transitioning out of shelter living, has introduced a new, limited-edition collection of jewelry and gifts created from caddie bibs worn during the Rocket Classic, Detroit’s annual PGA Tour golf tournament.
The 2025 Rocket Classic, which runs from June 26-29 at the Detroit Golf Club, offers a $9.6-million purse. There’s also upgraded fan experiences and new daily themes this year.
Participating players include past champions Cam Davis, Rickie Fowler, Tony Finau, and Nate Lashley. Additionally, top players like Collin Morikawa, Max Homa, Tom Kim, Kevin Kisner, and Patrick Cantlay will compete.
The new Rebel Nell collection includes divot tools, keychains, cuff links, drink picks, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and other items, all created in Detroit by women with barriers to employment.
Each item is crafted using pieces of Rocket Classic caddie bibs, preserving the texture, color and character of the original material while celebrating the energy and camaraderie of tournament play.
The Rocket Classic Collection is available online at rebelnell.com and at retail locations in Parkers Alley, Eastern Market, and the Evans Terminal at Detroit Metro Airport.
“This collaboration is a perfect union of tradition and transformation,” says Brittany Jeanis, tournament director for the Rocket Classic. “These bibs are worn during every moment of play during the tournament, and to see them live on as works of art is truly special, not only for the fans but for the community we serve.”
The collection is designed to honor the golf enthusiast, the tournament lover, and anyone who appreciates purposeful craftsmanship. Whether gifted or collected, each piece invites its wearer to carry a part of Detroit sports history with them.
“At Rebel Nell, we believe in giving new life to meaningful materials — and there’s something so special about these bibs,” says Amy Peterson, co-founder and CEO of Rebel Nell. “They are history, they’ve been part of pivotal tournament moments, and now they’re part of a new story — one that supports women as they rewrite their futures.”
