Detroit-based Las Vegas Stone & Flooring has opened a new, 6,000-square-foot showroom at 11343 Schaefer Highway on the city’s northwest side that features more than 12,500 unique items from around the world.
Inspired by the one-stop-shop concept, the showroom offers customers a vast selection of products that have been hand-selected by Las Vegas Stone & Flooring’s experts at wholesale prices.
“I’m very excited to officially announce our showroom in Detroit,” says Rob Kaoud, CEO and founder of Las Vegas Stone & Flooring. “It’s been a dream of our family to highlight products we’re proud of and for our customers to see and feel our items first-hand. After having a storefront in Las Vegas for many years, we were compelled to move our operations to Detroit to be a part of the revitalization and fill a growing need in the flooring distribution space.”
Kaoud says his company employs 55 employees and brings three generations of knowledge and passion to the material, flooring, and distribution business. By excluding the middle man, he says Las Vegas Stone & Flooring delivers high-quality products to both professional designers and individual customers making commercial and residential projects more cost effective.
The materials on display at the showroom include stone slabs, porcelain, ceramics, carpet, luxury vinyl tile and hardwood. They can be used for countertops, decorative accents, and many other applications.
Las Vegas Stone & Flooring also offers project estimating, project management, field supervisors, floor demolition, and materials warehousing.
The team at Las Vegas Stone & Flooring has worked on many notable projects over the years, including the ARIA Resort and Casino in Las Vegas; and Motor City Casino Hotel, Plum Market Downtown Detroit, Regency at Chene, and The Albert-Capitol Park in Detroit. The company’s work also can be found at Orchard Lake Country Club in West Bloomfield Township and Wabeek Country Club in Bloomfield Township.
