Fabian, Sklar, King & Liss, P.C. was founded in 1986 with the sole purpose of protecting the rights and maximizing the benefits of homeowners, businesses and other insureds who have property insurance claims, property claim denials or insurance claim denials against their insurance company or agent due to fires, explosions or other covered disasters.

As a natural outgrowth of the firm’s expertise in fire origin and cause investigation, we developed expertise in investigating and litigating serious personal injury and wrongful death cases resulting from fires and explosions.

Our fire loss attorneys and property damage attorneys have successfully handled thousands of property damage claims caused by fires, explosions, windstorms, water, and other insured perils, either by negotiating favorable settlements with insurance companies or by obtaining favorable jury verdicts through litigation, and have collected tens of millions of dollars for our clients.

As innovators in fire, explosion and property damage litigation, we have cultivated relationships with industry-leading organizations that regularly call upon our attorneys to conduct educational seminars on issues related to property insurance claims, property claim denials, insurance claim denials, insurance agent negligence, fire origin and cause investigation and more. Our attorneys are also active in developing NFPA 921: Guide for Fire and Explosion Investigations—the leading publication from the National Fire Protection Association for fire and explosion investigation.
