EPIC Fitness Group, a Planet Fitness franchise division that operates 70 Planet Fitness locations across Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois, says it plans to open clubs in Lincoln Park and St. Clair Shores this winter.
Pre-sale memberships for The Lincoln Park club, a new development located at 2100 Southfield Road, will open on Nov. 2. The St. Clair Shores location, at 22332 E. Nine Mile Road, will be taking over a space once occupied by a Kroger. Pre-sale memberships there will begin Nov. 2.
Planet Fitness clubs are designed to offer “everything needed to support fitness goals” in a clean, comfortable, and non-intimidating environment, with clubs operating 24 hours on weekdays and convenient hours on Saturdays and Sundays.
Every Planet Fitness membership includes access to the member’s home club, free fitness training, a wide selection of strength and brand-name cardio equipment, and access to the free Planet Fitness app featuring hundreds of on-demand digital workouts.
