Flint Development south of Kansas City, Kan., a national commercial real estate development firm, has received local approval to break ground on the Pinnacle Industrial Center, an industrial development located at the southwest corner of Pennsylvania and Wahrman roads in Huron Township.
The Pinnacle Industrial Center will feature a 549,916-square-foot warehouse and distribution facility. Construction is set to commence this spring, with a projected delivery date in the first quarter of 2027.
Strategically positioned near I-275 and Detroit Metropolitan Airport in Romulus, the facility will feature 40-foot clear height clearance, 55 initial dock doors (expandable to 147), and a 7-inch reinforced concrete slab.
“We are excited to bring this high-caliber project to Huron Township and appreciate the collaborative effort from local officials to bring this vision to life,” says Devin Schuster, a partner at Flint Development.
“Pinnacle Industrial Center is designed to be a versatile asset, providing modern infrastructure for companies specializing in logistics, distribution, and advanced manufacturing. By transforming this site into a productive industrial hub, we are ensuring the region remains competitive in the national supply chain.”
Flint Development other area developments include the 713,796-square-foot Oakland Logistics Center in Pontiac and the Wixom Assembly Park, a 2.3 million-square-foot, five-building campus on the former Ford Wixom plant site representing a $145 million investment.
“Our focus is on creating long-term value for the communities where we build,” says Hunter Harris, a partner at Flint Development. “The Pinnacle Industrial Center will not only provide essential space for global and local tenants but will also act as a primary driver for job creation in the area.”
Founded in 2020, Flint Development is active in 25 markets across the U.S. and has a portfolio of more than 21.7 million square feet of developed industrial space.
