
DQS Solutions & Staffing in Dearborn, a provider of workforce and operational solutions, has acquired McLaren Transport, a Detroit-based logistics company providing freight and warehousing services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition marks a significant step in DQS’s strategic expansion within the U.S. logistics sector, and adds to its ability to meet demand for supply chain solutions nationwide, the company states.
It also sets the stage for new opportunities, increased efficiency, and a broader geographic reach, across the automotive, manufacturing, and general freight industries.
McLaren Transport has a suite of logistics services, including trucking, warehousing, and cross-docking.
The company operates a 75,000-square-foot cold storage facility, positioned near the Gordie Howe International Bridge, where it manages time- and temperature-sensitive goods.
