DQS Solutions in Dearborn Expands with Strategic Acquisition of McLaren Transport

DQS Solutions & Staffing in Dearborn, a provider of workforce and operational solutions, has acquired McLaren Transport, a Detroit-based logistics company providing freight and warehousing services.​ Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition marks a significant step in DQS’s strategic expansion within the U.S. logistics sector, and adds to its ability to meet demand for supply chain solutions nationwide, the company states.​

It also sets the stage for new opportunities, increased efficiency, and a broader geographic reach, across the automotive, manufacturing, and general freight industries.​

McLaren Transport has a suite of logistics services, including trucking, warehousing, and cross-docking.

The company operates a 75,000-square-foot cold storage facility, positioned near the Gordie Howe International Bridge, where it manages time- and temperature-sensitive goods.​
