The Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds (MARVAC) is celebrating 60 years of the Detroit RV & Camping Show.
This year’s showcase, which runs from Jan. 28 to Feb. 1, will be held at Vibe Credit Union Showplace (formerly Suburban Collection Showplace) in Novi.
Spanning more than 300,000 square feet of space, the show will feature 350-plus RVs, from compact pop-up campers to luxury motorhomes. There’s also family-friendly travel trailers, toy haulers, or fifth wheels.
Prices range from less than $15,000 to more than $500,000, based on individual models and features.
The RVs on display come from 13 dealerships — Bish’s RV, Blue Compass RV, Fun Town RV, General RV, Holland Motor Homes, Klines RV, National RV, Price Right RV, TerryTown RV, Vacationland, Veurink’s RV, Vicar’s Trailer Sales, and Woodland Airstream.
These dealerships offer on-site financing and expert advice.
In addition, there will be 15-plus exhibiting campgrounds and information on dozens more. Guests also can shop RV parts and camping accessories, and get expert guidance on everything from towing to suspension.
There’s also camping-related seminars as well as the Stay and Play in Michigan giveaway where guests may win gas gift cards, campground stays, and more.

Admission is $12 for adults (13 and up); $11 for seniors (55 and up); and free for kids 12 and under. To celebrate 60 years of the show, anyone 60 and over will get in for $6 on opening day, Jan. 28. Show hours on weekdays from 1-8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. -9 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
