For those thirsty road trips or post drives from the gym, mixed with a blend of uber targeted marketing, Chevrolet and Erewhon are releasing the Equinox EV Electric Juice: a limited-edition wellness beverage inspired by the Equinox EV.
The Equinox EV Electric Juice will be exclusively available at Erewhon Studio City in Los Angeles on Sept. 27. Chevrolet will offer test drives of the Equinox EV at Erewhon Studio City on the same day from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Every driver will receive a complimentary bottle.
Whether the limited release spreads to other major markets remains to be seen.
The Electric Juice is the latest creation from Erewhon’s Tonic Bar, which offers juices, tonics, smoothies, and more.
Featuring chocho, the planet’s most protein-rich plant source, and blue spirulina, the electric-blue superfood that matches the Equinox EV’s signature color, the tonic’s organic ingredients are designed to energize and recharge.
As an organic retailer with 10 locations in southern California, Erewhon promotes sustainability by accessing organic farms.
In August, Chevrolet had its best month ever for EV sales, powered by rising demand for the Equinox EV. Los Angeles is home to one of the country’s largest EV markets.
Overall in 2024, EV sales have slowed due to the lack of a national charging network, range anxiety, high costs, stiff battery replacement costs, and more.
“We are looking forward for more customers to discover the Equinox EV — a fun-to-drive electric SUV,” says Steve Majoros, chief marketing officer, Chevrolet. “This relationship allows us to connect with potential new EV customers in southern California, an important market for Chevrolet.”
The Equinox EV offers an EPA-estimated range of 319 miles on front-wheel drive models. The Equinox EV has a starting MSRP of $34,995.
