Tom Lewand To Speak at Double Tree Hotel

Lions’ President Shares Vision For Franchise and Lions Comeback
1160

While the Lions’ season may have ended in the first round of the playoffs, fans were still treated to numerous nationally televised games this year, and this Lions unit proved they were not the same pushovers from years prior. They became a force in the NFC and a likely fixture in the playoff race for the foreseeable future.

Tom Lewand, who was named president of the Detroit Lions in December 2008, will share his vision for the Lions franchise as well as details of this great comeback story — to the comeback that Dearborn business is now experiencing.

He previously served as the Lions Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In his role as president, Lewand oversees all aspects of the Lions organizations. He is the chief player contract negotiator and oversees all day-to-day business operations of both the Detroit Lions and Ford Field entities.

The event will be held May 16 at the Doubletree Hotel Detroit/Dearborn. The event will start with registration and breakfast at 7:30 a.m., the keynote speaker and Q & A at 8:15 a.m., and networking from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m.

The cost is $30 per member, $35 per non-member, and $400 per table of 10.
