FARMINGTON HILLS — CKC Agency, a full-service public relations and media services firm, has added five new clients to its roster, including Von Maur department stores, Motor City Comic Con, Annette J. Benson & Associates PC, Shanbom Eye Specialist and the Trenton Summer Festival. The company also named Pat Baskin as managing director and Alanna Cohen as social media manager.
The firm is also handling public relations strategy and publicity for two upcoming events, the 25th annual Motor City Comic Con, May 16-18 and the Trenton Summer Festival, June 27-29.
Baskin brings more than 20 years of public relations, corporate communications, and issues management experience to her role as managing director of CKC Agency. Previously she served as public relations manager for Lowe Campbell Ewald, formerly in Warren, and was also senior vice president, director of corporate communication for Doner in Southfield. Baskin has received multiple awards for her work from the American Marketing Association and Public Relations Society of America. She earned her bachelor’s from Central Michigan University.
Alanna Cohen manages social media campaigns and initiatives for CKC Agency as well as many of the firm’s clients in her role as social media manager. Cohen also assists with special client events. She received her bachelor’s in communications from Grand Valley State University.
