Macomb County Habitat for Humanity is a charitable nonprofit organization dedicated to building low-cost homes by forming partnerships with low-income families in need of affordable housing. Members believe home ownership is a vital step to help families break the cycle of poverty and contribute to pride in the community. The group, based in Mount Clemens, builds homes for income-qualified homeowners and seniors, operates discount home improvement stores in Warren and Shelby Township, and mobilizes hundreds of volunteers every year.
