Paul Ryznar, CEO of Wixom’s OPS Solutions and creator of Light Guide Systems, an augmented reality (AR) tool that aids manual assembly and manufacturing processes for companies worldwide, gave a presentation on the technology last week at the ReMaTec Conference in The Netherlands.
ReMaTec is one of the world’s leading remanufacturing trade shows and Ryznar is a globally recognized expert in AR technology for manufacturing. His presentation focused on the use of AR in remanufacturing and featured examples of innovative applications and results.
“The Light Guide Systems team is continuously exploring new applications for AR technology and is excited to bring our ideas to the global remanufacturing community,” Ryznar said prior to attending the conference. “We look forward to showcasing our expertise as this industry continues to evolve into the future with Industry 4.0.”
In addition to the speaking engagement, the Light Guide Systems team exhibited a new AR tech tool—Light Guide Stratus, which builds on the company’s Light Guide Systems Pro, which launched in 2016. Leveraging the immersive computing platform Sprout Pro by HP, Light Guide Stratus harnesses the power of AR technology in a flexible, adaptable benchtop platform for assembly processes.
