TES America, a touch solutions provider in Holland (southwest of Grand Rapids) has acquired certain assets of 3M Touch Systems, a subsidiary of Minnesota’s 3M Co.
The sale is expected to be completed by the end of December. Terms were not disclosed.
Assets included are surface capacitive and projected capacitive components and displays for commercial applications in industries such as casino gaming, medical equipment, public kiosks, collaboration tables, and financial transactions.
TES plans to maintain all existing 3M Touch products as well as continued support and expansion of the MicroTouch brand of touch monitors.
The purchase enhances the current TES touch component and monitor portfolio while offering continued support to current 3M Touch Systems customers.
