Southfield-based Nexcess has introduced StoreBuilder, an intelligent, no-code e-commerce solution for creating and operating customized online stores. The product was launched in response to e-commerce trends and an uptick in online businesses.

Targeted to merchants who lack technical expertise and don’t want a coding budget, StoreBuilder leverages the power of WooCommerce, a commonly known free e-commerce platform for store owners. It is open-source technology and sits on top of WordPress, which has been widely adapted and is free.

StoreBuilder’s proprietary intelligence engine uses insights from more than a thousand stores across 10 sectors including clothing, jewelry, home goods, and electronics.

Users don’t need coding or design experience to build a store, and can load content right after setting up an account.

“Templates on e-commerce platforms are everywhere, often making one store look like another,” says Chris Lema, vice president of products at Nexcess. “In a growing field of e-commerce competitors where your store has to stand out to succeed, StoreBuilder creates a one-of-a-kind storefront.”

StoreBuilder has also been added as a free feature for customers of Nexcess’ managed WooCommerce hosting, an e-commerce platform.

To celebrate the launch, StoreBuilder is offering one month free to new users. More information is available here.
