Southfield’s BullsEye Telecom, a communication solutions provider, has partnered with the United Kingdom’s Sophos, a network and endpoint security company. The partnership expands BullsEye’s security offerings with Sophos’ threat protection.

“In today’s evolving threat landscape, proactive methods of threat prevention are critical,” says Vilas Uchil, vice president of technology and engineering at BullsEye. “We’re seeing increased demand for managed security services and sought to partner with a proven solution provider. After exhaustive testing, we selected Sophos as the clear choice, and we look forward to offering Sophos solutions to our clients.”

Sophos offers endpoint, network, and cloud solutions. They can be managed through a single platform, and the solutions share threat intelligence with each other.

“Cyber criminals are targeting businesses through every possible vulnerable channel and continuously shifting their tactics to successfully carry out attacks,” says Erin Malone, vice president of North America channel sales at Sophos.

“Ransomware, in particular, is a persistent threat that Sophos protects against. We also provide endpoint detection and response to track and stop adversaries who are using automated, active attack techniques to reach their destination, which is typically the server to exfiltrate sensitive data they can sell on the dark web or use to escalate privileges and embed deeper into the network.”

BullsEye also offers managed WiFi, internet of things, internet, and traditional phone service. It provides services to thousands of businesses across the U.S.

Sophos offers cybersecurity to nearly 400,000 organizations in more than 150 countries.
