Ann Arbor-based Clinc AI and Tokyo-based SCSK Corp. have launched a joint development initiative to design and deliver conversational artificial intelligence solutions for the Japanese enterprise market.

Clinc and SCSK currently are working on AI projects with market leaders Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Co. Ltd., MUFG Bank Ltd., and Nippon Life Insurance Co. along with its subsidiary, NLGIA Silicon Valley.

Clinc’s patented conversational AI solutions will be offered in Japanese and demonstrate the power of its platform to handle multiple languages at scale.

“When we evaluated partners for the Japanese market our decision was easy, SCSK immediately impressed us with their knowledge of the market, technical capabilities, and commitment to providing best-in-class solutions,” says Jon Newhard, CEO of Clinc.

During the joint project, Clinc will provide its interactive AI platform and technical support, SCSK will develop and implement customized AI models, and customers will preparation training data, business scripts, and results analysis.
