TAG Multimedia, an advertising company in Clawson, has developed conversational AI avatars (CAI) to help small businesses face the staffing crisis by cloning business owners as digital avatars that become their ideal, online employee.

“Today’s staffing shortage means current employees are expected to pick up extra tasks, which reduces their overall productivity,” says Michelle Armstrong, president of TAG. “Overextended employees may develop mental health issues as well as burnout, leading them to project that on to the company’s brand through customer interactions and morale.”

The CAI avatars are saving business owners money that can offset the training cycle and incentivize proper talent by filling the hiring gap.

Similarly, CAI avatars can be programmed to understand processes, goods, and services, and the ideal way to represent the brand, making sick days, benefits, availability, and raises a thing of the past since the avatar is “working” constantly.
