Senior leaders from Ford Motor Co. in Dearborn, the U.S. Department of Energy, and LG Energy Solutions will be presenting keynote addresses at the Battery Show and Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo, Sept. 14-16 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.
North America’s largest advanced battery technology and E/HV trade show and conference, the in-person event is designed to propel the global market for large and advanced batteries that is forecasted to reach nearly $110 billion by 2024.
Addressing the growing industry will be:
- David Howell, vehicle technologies deputy director, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, at the U.S. Department of Energy (Sept. 14, 9:30 a.m.)
- Denise Gray, president for North America of LG Energy Solutions (Sept. 15, 9 a.m.)
- Brett Hinds, chief engineer for electrified powertrain systems at Ford Motor Co. (Sept. 16, 9 a.m.)
“We could not be happier to have such well-respected leaders in the industry addressing such timely and forward-looking topics: supply chain and regulatory policy, the future of the U.S. battery market, and the global transition to electric vehicles,” says Jenny McCall, group event director for the Battery Show and E/HV Tech Expo at Informa Markets. “Each keynote address was developed with the intention of delivering topical insights for attendees to turn into practice so they, too, can have a positive impact on the rapidly progressing advanced battery and E/HV markets.”
In addition to this year’s keynote lineup, the Battery Show and E/HV Technology Expo will feature an Advanced Propulsion Centre and UK Pavilion, designed to pull together exhibitors who have advanced new technology and are looking for partner organizations to sell to or develop cutting-edge technology with.
