Michigan’s premier commercial real estate conference is making its return this month, bringing major star power and a bold focus on the state’s future. The Power Connections: Michigan’s #1 Commercial Real Estate Conference will take place June 24–25 at Huntington Place in Downtown Detroit, convening hundreds of investors, developers, and industry leaders from across the state and beyond.
This year’s conference boasts a powerhouse lineup of speakers, including Kevin O’Leary of ABC’s Shark Tank, Michigan State Men’s Basketball Coach Tom Izzo, Kofi Bonner, CEO of Bedrock, former Governor Rick Snyder, now CEO of SensCy, and Bob Riney, President & CEO of Henry Ford Health. Also joining the stage are former U.S. Ambassador John Rakolta, Jr., Chairman of Walbridge, and Gary Torgow, Chairman of Huntington Bank.
“This is the place to be if you want to elevate your skills, expand your network, and gain insights from commercial real estate leaders,” O’Leary said. “I’m thrilled to be the keynote speaker for this dynamic event.”
With the theme “Moving Michigan Forward,” the conference will highlight the partnerships, policies, and projects driving investment and revitalization throughout the state. Attendees will hear firsthand about major developments, capital strategies, and market trends from those leading the charge.
“The energy in Michigan right now is real — and this conference is where relationships are built, capital is raised, and deals get done,” said Derek Dickow, founder of Power Connections and conference chairman.
The two-day event features more than 40 speakers, thought-provoking panels, fireside chats, curated networking opportunities, private VIP receptions, and a conference app designed to connect attendees for meetings and dealmaking.
Sponsors for this year’s gathering include Mercury Lighting and Sound, Signal Restoration, eTitle, Farbman Group, Ronnisch Construction, and Citizens State Bank.
