What began as an ambitious idea to create one of the world’s largest garage communities evolved into something much greater – a captivating destination open to the public, offering shows and activations that ignite the senses. Thus, M1 Concourse was born, an 87-acre epicenter of automotive activity boasting an impressive collection of 255 garages. These individually owned garages vary in size, ranging from 500 to 5,000 square feet, and are custom-designed to cater to the unique desires and needs of their owners. From “Man Caves” to “Social Destinations” and simple “Workshops,” all these diverse spaces share a common thread: a profound love for automobiles.
The property at M1 Concourse is a treasure trove of automotive passion, housing a remarkable array of classic, modern, and exotic cars. Each vehicle exudes rarity and uniqueness, bearing witness to the unwavering devotion of its members. However, what use are these remarkable cars without a place to unleash their horsepower? Fear not, as M1 Concourse’s 1.5-mile performance circuit awaits, offering the perfect playground for showcasing their capabilities. This thrilling track space features 11 turns, 30 feet of elevation change, and a central arena for autocross and drifting. On the one-third mile back-straight, high-performance vehicles can reach speeds surpassing 125 miles per hour. The track activations extend beyond performance driving, accommodating a diverse range of events, including defensive driving schools, vehicle reviews, and unforgettable track experiences with seasoned professional drivers. These experiences promise to leave you breathless as you twist and turn, feeling the spectacular G-forces pressing you into your seat.
As you step away from the exhilarating track, grinning from ear to ear, the excitement doesn’t end there. Across every corner of the property, during various car shows and events, you’ll find an enchanting assortment of rare rides and custom gems. In fact, it’s impossible to walk more than 100 steps without being awestruck by the sheer beauty that surrounds you. The consensus is unanimous – each car is a work of art, deserving of twenty snapshots or more, leaving visitors with an abundance of memories to cherish.

Immerse yourself in the celebration of car culture at the Woodward Dream Show, taking place on August 18th and 19th. Among the highlights is the Corvette Anniversary Exhibit, a tribute to 70 years of the legendary Corvette. At the event, you’ll see 70 Corvettes on-site, showcasing one model from each production year. On the 18th of August 2023, all these exquisite Corvettes will be elegantly lined up at the M1 Concourse Plaza, near the event center, offering a unique and exclusive one-day photo opportunity. An extraordinary addition to the exhibit is the 1983 Corvette, the only one of its kind in the world, graciously lent by the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this automotive extravaganza of the finest collection of Corvettes.
Corvette is not the only celebrity of the show, Woodward Dream Show is also celebrating MOPAR and the 65th Anniversary RAMCHARGERS. There will also be over 700 hot rods, custom cars, muscle cars and cruisers parked around the M1 Circuit.
While parked cars are pleasant to behold, car enthusiasts know that style is just one aspect of a car’s allure—the other being speed. To witness both in action, head over to the American Speed Festival. This event brings together prestigious brands from automotive performance history, showcasing everything from vintage Indy cars and historic stock cars to modern-day supercars. The festival offers a rare chance to see race cars from different eras zooming by on the 1.5-mile M1 Concourse Speed Ring. Moreover, the 2023 celebrations will focus on significant milestones, such as 100 years of Americans at Le Mans, 70 years of Corvette, and 50 years of IROC Series, providing a wealth of automotive history to explore during this multi-day event.

M1 Concourse itself holds immense automotive heritage and significance, occupying an 87-acre plot of land that was once the site where the first truck (Rapid Motor Co.) was built. Space serves as a testament to the rich history and legacy of automobiles.
Whether you come for the Garage Community, to get on the M1 Circuit track, book you gala at the Event Center, or attend one of our amazing Signature shows, M1 Concourse allows you to step into a world that is beyond your imagination. Come experience how speed & style will leave you changed forever.
