Zolman Restoration Appoints Jeff Katkowsky As President

Zolman Restoration, a full-service restoration company specializing in fire, smoke, water, mold, and storm restoration services, Friday announced Jeff Katkowsky president. Katkowsky is a founding principal of both Zolman and Sachse Construction.

In his new role, Katkowsky will manage day-to-day business development for Zolman, as well as oversee the integration of all activities among the sales, operations, and finance departments.

“As an original founding principal of Zolman Restoration, Jeff understands what our goals and mission have been since the company’s inception in 2013, and he will continue to be a valuable member of the Z-Team,” says Todd Sachse, co-founding principal. “His proven leadership and incredible insights into the industry, as well as our business model specifically, make him the perfect fit for our growing team, where he will be an essential part of evolving the company as we look to showcase our passion and core values to a greater audience.”

Katkowsky brings more than 25 years of experience working in all facets in the construction field, including residential, retail, medical, office, and hospitality. Prior to this promotion, he oversaw Sachse’s Retail Group which focuses on building retail stores and restaurants throughout the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. The retail group is comprised of 70 team members with an annual revenue of approximately $70 million.

Katkowsky holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and is a member of the Construction Association of Michigan, Home Builder’s Associate of Michigan, Retail Contractor’s Association, International Council of Shopping Centers, and American Institute of Architecture. Zolman is a licensed builder in multiple states.
