TROY— Ziebart International Corp. specializing in automotive detailing, films and protection services, has promoted Larisa Walega to Director of Marketing for the worldwide corporation.
Walega, a five-year employee of the company, will assume responsibilities for directing and coordinating the development, execution and analysis of all Ziebart marketing, advertising and public relations programs. In addition, she will be responsible for all company field marketing, digital marketing and creative/graphic/video teams.
Walega joined Ziebart in 2009, bringing with her experience working in the advertising world with two major Detroit area agencies, Doner and the newly renamed firm, Lowe Campbell Ewald. Prior to her promotion, she served as director of field marketing for Ziebart. In that capacity, she developed and oversaw fully integrated advertising, marketing, public relations and event plans for all domestic corporate stores and nearly 100 franchised locations. Walega is a graduate of Adrian College with a Bachelor of Arts in arts management.
