Thomas E. Coulter has been elected to the Yeo & Yeo CPAs & Business Consultants board of directors and David W. Schaeffer has been reelected to the firm’s board of directors. They will serve two-year terms.
Coulter, left, is a managing principal and a member of the firm’s pension, financial services, health care services, and agribusiness teams. He has nearly 35 years of experience in fiduciary, estate, corporate, and individual taxation.
Coulter also provides financial services and is a Registered Representative with Cetera Financial Specialists LLC. He is a member of Michigan School Business Officials and his a former member of the Gratiot Area Chamber of Commerce’s Ambassador Committee, the Gratiot Medical Center Planned Giving Committee, and the Gratiot County United Way Allocation Committee. He is treasurer of the Pine River Country Club. Coulter is based in the firm’s Alma office.
Schaeffer is the managing principal of Yeo & Yeo’s Saginaw office. He is a member of the firm’s valuation and litigation services team and the manufacturing services. He has nearly 35 years of experience in business consulting, financial reporting, tax consulting services, and mergers and acquisitions.
He holds the Accredited in Business Valuation and Certified in Financial Forensics credentials. Schaeffer is a member of the Michigan Manufacturers Association and the Great Lakes Bay Manufacturers Association. He serves on the Northwood University Accounting Advisory Committee, and is an active member of the Stevens Center for Family Business at Saginaw Valley State University. He serves on the Rock the Island Executive Council and is a volunteer for Junior Achievement of Northeast Michigan.
