Wright & Filippis Director Named to Orthotic Prosthetic Board

ROCHESTER HILLS — Pam Filippis Lupo, director of Orthotics and Orthotic Residency at Wright & Filippis, was elected to the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association Board of Directors.

Lupo has more than 35 years of experience at Wright & Filippis. In addition to her role as director, she is the manager of women’s care and member of the board of directors for the company.

Lupo  serves on the Michigan Orthotic and Prosthetic Association Board and the Michigan Department of Community Health Medical Care Advisory Council. Lupo has served on the AOPA Coding and Reimbursement Committee for over 10 years and has presented multiple times at the American Association of Orthotist and Prosthetists and Academy National Assemblies.

She received her certificate in orthotics from Northwestern University in Chicago and is a clinical specialist in pediatric orthotics She is an American Board for Certification facility accreditation surveyor and has served on the ABC Standards and the Scoring and Guidance Committees.

Lupo has taught Coding and Compliance at Northwestern University and lectured at Wayne State University, the University of Michigan, Oakland University and Eastern Michigan University.
