DETROIT — AlliedBarton Security Services and Winning Futures have selected Jason Gordon, the company’s business development manager, as the inaugural recipient of the Sam Cupp Alumni Community Service Award.

The award recognizes alumni of Winning Futures who have made a great impact in the community while achieving personal goals.

“Jason’s commitment to helping young men and women establish a goal-oriented mindset, while maintaining that same level of desire in his own professional life, is a positive reflection of his character and a symbol of his willingness to serve the community,” says Catherine King, AlliedBarton senior vice president of client experience. “This award acknowledges his eagerness to share the values of hard work, and we’re honored that Winning Futures has selected Jason for this award.”

Gordon has worked for AlliedBarton 10 years and has served as a mentor with Winning Futures, a nonprofit that empowers middle and high school students through mentorship programs, for 18 months.
