Wineman Technology Inc., a leading systems integrator for test applications, today announced plans to expand its Clarkston office following record order growth of 20 percent in 2013. With the expansion, the company can grow its workforce, enhance employee training, and increase on-site capabilities to better serve its growing customer base.
Wineman Technology will triple the size of its Clarkston office, increasing its office space to 4,000 square feet and lab space to 2,000 square feet. Additional office space allows the company to grow its workforce over time, with the goal of doubling the Clarkston staff to15-20 engineers. Engineers will use the increased lab space to perform processes — such as start-up, debug and trouble-shooting of equipment — previously available only at Wineman Technology headquarters in Saginaw.
“At Wineman Technology, we have experienced consistent growth over the years, and we anticipate steady growth for the foreseeable future,” said Matt Eurich, president. “By expanding our Clarkston offices, we can grow our staff, specifically in the automotive field, and provide employees with the resources, technology and hands-on training needed to give our customers high-quality and efficient service.”
Eurich says in 2015, Wineman Technology, additionally, plans to add a small engine dynamometer cell to the shop in Clarkston to aid in the development of its flagship INERTIA test software, and grow employee expertise in dynamometer and engine technology through first-hand experience. Customers will, also, be able to use the new dynamometer as needed for their own R&D projects.
“The Detroit market has grown over the past few years with the resurgence of the auto industry and we’re excited to be a part of that,” Eurich said. “By allowing final engineering to take place closer to this market, we can better collaborate with our customers during the development of equipment, helping them get to market faster and more efficiently.”
Wineman Technology has extensive knowledge of test equipment including dynamometers, and already offers a full range of off-the-shelf and custom test cell solutions that can be used in automotive, aerospace, industrial, commercial, off-highway, and agricultural industry solutions.
