OAK PARK — Forgotten Harvest is teaming up with Whole Foods Market to “Stuff the Truck” at three metro Detroit Whole Foods Market locations on Saturday to collect food for hungry families.

“We are grateful to Whole Foods Market for partnering with Forgotten Harvest to ‘Stuff the Truck’ this year,” said Kirk Mayes, CEO of Forgotten Harvest. “This event simplifies the donating process and benefits hundreds of hungry families.”

From 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. shoppers can pick up a wish list that volunteers will be handing out at the store entrances and then donate them to Forgotten Harvest as they leave the store. The three Whole Foods Market stores participating are located in Troy, Rochester Hills, and West Bloomfield Township. The collected food will be distributed by Forgotten Harvest’s network of more than 280 agencies in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties.
