DETROIT — Nassima Goumeziane has joined The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit as the director of food and beverage.
She will be responsible for all hotel dining; the menus for The Motor Lobby, The Boulevard Room, WBC Gourmet Grab & Go, and all food and operations for meetings, banquets and in-room dining.
Prior to joining the Book Cadillac, Goumeziane, with more than 15 years of hotel culinary experience, was the complex director of banquets for the Westin Beach Resort/Sheraton Fort Lauderdale. She also served in banquet and other food and beverage positions at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa (Hollywood, Fla.); Westin Diplomat Country Club and Spa (Hallandale, Fla.) and the Westin Savannah Harbor Resort & Spa. Goumeziane was also a part of the Book Cadillac opening team in 2008, and has worked on several other hotel opening projects.
Goumeziane is a graduate of the University of Surrey at Guildford, Surrey, United Kingdom, where she received a Master of Science degree in tourism management.
