Warner Norcross Names Four New Partners in Southfield and Macomb County Offices

Warner Norcross and Judd today announced it has named two partners to its Southfield office and two partners to its Macomb County office. A total of eight new partners were named across the state.

Roquia K. Draper is a partner in the Southfield office and focuses on family law with an emphasis in divorce proceedings, child custody cases, litigation, and dispute resolution. She is a member of the Federal Bar Association, American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, Oakland County Bar Association, Grand Rapids Bar Association, and Wayne County Family Law Bar Association. She serves as vice president of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan. After earning her undergraduate degree from Wayne State University, she completed her law degree at Wayne Law.

Dennis W. Loughlin was also named to the Southfield office. He focuses his practice on creditors’ rights, restructuring, and insolvency, and he serves as general counsel for corporate entities. He is a member of the Federal Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, Macomb County Bar Association, and the American Bankruptcy Institute and Turnaround Management Association. He is a member of the Detroit Athletic Club and serves on its membership development committee. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy.

David W. MacDonald was added to the Macomb County office and counsels clients on business formations; mergers and acquisitions; real estate transactions; leasing of commercial, industrial, and retail property; and condominium and loan documentation. He is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, Macomb County Bar Association, and Oakland County Bar Association. MacDonald serves on the board of the McLaren Macomb Healthcare Foundation and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and his law degree from the College of Law at DePaul University in Chicago.

The Macomb County office has also seen the addition of Joseph R. Owens, who specializes in trust and estate planning, tax planning, business succession planning, and general business law. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Macomb County Bar Association, Macomb County Probate Bar, and Financial and Estate Planning Council of Macomb County. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Oakland University and his law degree from Wayne Law.
