TROY — Walsh College has opened enrollment for a 12-week Certified Treasury Professional exam course, which begins Sept. 22 on the Troy campus. The course will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Mondays.
A CTP designation can boost marketability because it reflects competency in the finance professions, whether working as an accounting manager or as a financial analyst, according to the Association for Finance Professionals.
Students will be taught by Stephen Sholty, assistant professor of finance, at Walsh. Students who do not pass the exam may take the class again at no charge.
There are no admissions requirements or application fees for the course. However, qualification for the exam and the certification must be done online.
Tuition is $1,595 (or $1,450 before Sept. 10 with the discount code Early Bird) and includes books and online tools. It must be paid in full before classes begin.
