DETROIT – Village Green, one of the nation’s largest apartment management companies, recently received the real estate industry’s coveted National Customer Service Award for Excellence for a fifth consecutive year.
“This is the equivalent of winning five consecutive Super Bowls in our business, and just like any championship sports team, it was achieved through training and teamwork.” said Diane Batayeh, COO of Village Green.
Village Greens’ Batayeh credits their special training program for the extraordinary feat. Initiated in 1986, the “University” recruits hospitality focused college graduates for property management and marketing, concierges from the hospitality industry and talented graduates from trade schools for operations. They train all associates to develop their professional skills and industry knowledge to produce a level of customer focus and satisfaction more commonly found in the luxury hospitality field.
The Service Excellence award is bestowed by CEL & Associates Inc., the nation’s largest surveyor of resident satisfaction. CEL and Associates queries residents at thousands of properties nationwide every year about their experiences for the awards
