Village Green Names New Assistant Vice President

DETROIT — Village Green has promoted Craig McGowan to assistant vice president of acquisitions. In this new role, McGowan will be responsible for the development of Village Green’s acquisition pipeline in the Midwest and East Coast multifamily luxury rental markets.

McGowan had previously served at Village Green’s director of acquisitions and underwriting for the last two years.

“Craig has been an instrumental part of the Village Green team,” said Jason Koehn, chief investment officer. “He was tasked with closing acquisitions in Detroit, as well as the closing of developments and refinances in Minneapolis and St. Louis.”

Immediately prior to joining Village Green, McGowan served as director of operations at RS&P Property Group in Illinois. He also spent nine years at Heitman, an Illinois-based real estate investment management firm, where he served as vice president of acquisitions.

McGowan received a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Louisiana State University. He is also a certified public accountant.
