Verizon Names New Region President


SOUTHFIELD — Verizon Wireless has named Lauren Love-Wright as region president for its Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky region.

Love-Wright will be responsible for all sales, marketing, operations, financial performance, and customer service in the three states.

She previously served as retail director for the company’s Illinois and Wisconsin region.

Love-Wright, a Detroit native, joined Verizon Wireless in 2003 as associate director for strategic sales for its Illinois and Wisconsin region.

Love-Wright has a bachelor’s degree in computer science and electrical engineering from Spelman College and Georgia Institute of Technology; a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology; and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
