tDETROIT — H2bid is a proud sponsor of SI Detroit, a quarterly event designed to foster the collaboration and information sharing necessary to grow Detroit’s burgeoning IT community. SI Detroit is a free event which will take place on March 19, 2012. Representatives from four major venture capital firms and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) will tell metro Detroit’s software and Internet entrepreneurs how to build multimillion or billion dollar companies with venture capital financing.

tThe date for the first SI Detroit event is March 19, 2012, at the Majestic Cafe, 4120 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, Michigan 48201 (in Midtown), from 5pm-8pm. There will be a panel from Michigan's venture capital community who will discuss "Building an Information Technology Sector in Metro Detroit: From the Perspective of Venture Capitalists." At the March 19th event, a company will introduce "Tidbit," a new technology for conducting internal corporate conversations via a desktop application.
