Varnum in Grand Rapids Hires New Attorney

GRAND RAPIDS — Varnum is pleased to welcome attorney Katherine K. Wilbur to the Grand Rapids office.


Wilbur is an associate practicing corporate and tax law. She focuses on issues relating to sales, corporate, and partnership taxation.

Wilbur received her law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she received nine CALI awards for achieving the highest grade in a class. She recently received an L.L.M. in taxation from Northwestern University School of Law and graduated with honors. She attended Hope College for her undergraduate degree in International Studies and Art History.

Wilbur’s experience includes researching and writing appellate briefs while clerking at Even & Franks PLLC in Muskegon for several summers. She also worked as a tax research assistant at Loyola University School of Law. She served as an extern for Judge Ronald A. Guzman in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and has worked as an intern in the Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office.
