Varnum Adds New Intellectual Property Attorney

NOVI — Varnum announced that intellectual property attorney Timothy K. Kroninger has joined the firm’s metro Detroit office.

Kroninger joins Varnum from IPPES in Troy, where he was the principal and acted as the firm’s CEO and chief legal officer. 

Kroninger has experience in many legal business areas including intellectual property and contract law, corporate and general business law, franchise and marketing law, and trademark/brand licensing. His experience includes working with Fortune 500 companies around the world.  

Outside of his practice, Kroninger is an active member of the community in southeast Michigan. He serves as a board member and vice president of the Optimist Club of Auburn Hills. He is a board member, treasurer, and past president of the Crescent Ridge/Parc Subdivision Association, and a member of the Michigan State University Alumni Association and the Michigan State University – President’s Club and Beaumont Tower Society.

Kroninger earned his Juris Doctor  from the University of Detroit School of Law. He obtained his undergraduate bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University’s College of Business, where he graduated with honors.
