Urban Land Institute Michigan, a nonprofit research and education organization committed to creating and sustaining thriving communities across the state, is accepting applications for its leadership program. Deadline is 5:30 p.m. Aug. 28.
Participants will commit one full day each month, beginning in October, to attending comprehensive programming developed by a committee of seasoned ULI members, culminating in a real-world group project known as a Technical Assistance Panel. Through the TAP component, participants will help a Michigan community in need of redevelopment by researching and analyzing the area of focus, conducting due diligence, seeking additional input from stakeholders and industry experts and summarizing their recommendations.
The program is actively seeking candidates from across Michigan with a minimum of five years of experience in the real estate industry or related field including development, architecture, planning, government, transportation, engineering, finance, sustainability, and nonprofits.
