Kathleen McCann has been appointed as chairman of United Road Services’ board of directors. In her new role, McCann will focus on large strategic matters.
McCann, with more than 20 years of experience, currently serves as the CEO of United Road Services. Previously, McCann, held the position as the president at United Road Services in Romulus, where she handled the movement of trucks. She also worked at Detroit-based Soave Enterprises as a senior executive, a company that specializes in identifying and growing business potential.
McCann, of Plymouth, earned a bachelor in business administration from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti.
Mark Anderson has been named president of United Road Services. In his new role, Anderson will focus on time execution of the company’s strategic plan.
Anderson, right, with more than 25 years of experience, currently serves as the COO of United Road Services. Anderson previously worked as CEO at Inland Industrial Services Group in Detroit, as COO of Atlas Oil Co., in Taylor, as director of southeast Michigan hauling operations of City Management in Detroit, and vice president and director of Midwest planning and analysis of Waste Management in Detroit.
Anderson, of Novi, earned a bachelor in accounting from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind., and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor.
