Ryan Kraft has been promoted to chief digital officer of Plymouth Township-based United Road. In his almost 12-year career with the company, Kraft has served in various positions including financial analyst and vice president of operations technology.

In his new role, he will integrate United Road’s technology footprint across the supply chain to provide a seamless experience for customers, carriers, and vendors.

“We are using technology including artificial intelligence across the United Road supply chain to support the needs of the end user − our customers, carrier partners, vendors – giving them digital tools and information in real time,” says Mark Anderson, president and CEO. “Ryan’s background in finance and IT and his deep understanding of our supply chain make him a natural fit for the journey ahead. Our end-goal is to make it easy and efficient to work with United Road.”

Kraft began his career as a financial analyst at Ford Motor Co. Prior to joining United Road, he served as chief information officer at Wilbanks Energy Services in New Mexico. Kraft is a graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.

United Road was founded in 1998 and is a vehicle logistics company. Each year, it manages the transport of nearly 4 million vehicles. It has operating locations across the U.S. and Canada, more than 1,700 employees, and 2,500 company-owned and independent vehicle carriers.
