Troy-based Ulliance Inc., an international service company providing human resources services, has added nutritionist and chef Nicole Bunting to help with the company’s Employee Assistance and Life Advisor Wellness programs. Bunting is both a classically trained chef and certified nutritionist.

Ulliance says it can be challenging for working individuals to access healthy meals that are quick, easy, and practical. Bunting will work to expand the company’s Lunch and Learn offerings. During sessions, she will prepare a simple and healthy meal that employees will get to enjoy. In each class, there will be printed recipes, step-by-step instructions, and nutritional information. The program encourages long-term behavioral changes that have the ability to positively impact employees’ health, personal, and professional lives. While sessions can be modified to fit each client, each normally lasts an hour.

“We’re very excited to welcome chef Nicole to our family,” says Kent Sharkey, president and CEO of Ulliance. “She will certainly take our cooking and nutrition tutorials to a new level as part of our Life Advisory Wellness and Employee Assistance Programs. Delicious, healthy, and quick meals help make employees’ home lives that much simpler, which is reflected in their work productivity.”

Before becoming a chef, Bunting had a career in marketing. In 2012, she began at the Cook Street Culinary School in Denver, from which she traveled to Italy and France for lessons. She has also studied French cuisine, pastry, and wine at the Gastronomicom Cooking School in Cap d’Agde.

In addition to being a certified personal chef and certified fitness nutrition specialist, Bunting is an expert in preparing quick, healthy, and great-tasting meals; practical ways to cook healthier foods; sourcing local, sustainable ingredients; understand portion sizes; and reading and understanding food labels.

Services that Ulliance Inc. offers include employee assistance programs, wellness programs, training programs, organizational and leadership development, coaching, career transition services, and crisis management to more than 260 organizations across the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America, and Europe, serving nearly 1 million people. The company was founded in 1990 and has worked with organizations of various sizes to greatly reduce behavioral health care costs while increasing employee productivity and retention.
